Nazareno Crea (an italian typographer, studied in Switzerland) teaches us about typeface design. The first task for us was to draw an alphabet (upper and lower cases) with pencil. It was a very good practise to understand how you can make the letters coherent to each other, like one family.
The second task was to draw a calligraphy alphabet.

Nazareno advised us for both techniques to do it as simple as possible. It was hard enough to work on the details of a very simple typeface.
