Openings

On the first Thursday of every month the galleries and museums of east London open their doors late and there are plenty of events. We went to Kemistry Gallery, Carl Freedman Gallery (the paintings by David Brian Smith were great!), The Rag Factory and more.

Jiggling Atoms in The Rag Factory. This is a project by some recent graduates from BA Illustration. They have made work which deals with particle physics as its subject matter.

Such a good atmosphere!

On our way, we passed Boxpark Shoreditch, a pretty cool place!
BOXPARK is constructed of stripped, and refitted shipping containers, to create unique, low cost, low risk, ‘box shops’. Filled with a unique mix of international fashion and lifestyle brands, galleries and cafés, it’s the world’s first ‘pop-up’ mall – so named because its basic building blocks are inherently movable: they can, and will, pop up anywhere in the world!
